COVID-19 space planning service

Space Planning & COVID-19

Create a socially distanced & safer workspace

Creating a safer workspace

Although home-working has become ‘the norm’ of late, when safe to do so, office life will return.  The 2 metre rule, however, will herald a marked change in the way we work and companies will need to ensure that the workplace is a safe and secure environment for employees to return to.

Workplaces must adapt to comply with social distancing rules, and in doing so, businesses must prioritise hygiene and safety for staff welfare and their mental health.

Planning for the long-term

In the short-term, getting people back to work may involve flexible working and shift patterns so less people can be accommodated safely within the workspace.

However, in the longer term, to create a safer working environment, design changes which put hygiene and safety first must be made.  COVID-19 will have a long-lasting impact on the way we work and how the workplace functions in future years to come.

Space Planning & Design Services to create a COVID-19 safer workspace

Before you start pulling desks apart, take time to consider the true impact of thoughtful space planning.

Using CAD design, at Landmark, we can help you create a COVID-19 safe workspace, adhering to social distancing rules and reducing levels of anxiety for returning employees.  We provide a space planning service that can help you create a safe and hygienic environment, focussed on social distancing rules, staff health & hygiene.

Our space planning service comprises assessment and identification of changes that you may not have considered; designing and space planning around the needs of safety, people and existing infrastructure; changing the layout, your existing and any new furniture requirements to create a safe, hygienic and productive environment.

We can offer full visuals as well as pricing for a range of new furniture options to suit any budget and style.

How we work with you

At Landmark Office, we care.  We care about your aspirations and we care about getting it right.  We are ‘people’ people and known for our detailed project management, communication & our highly skilled installation teams.  Customer service is of paramount importance throughout our processes.

In re-designing your workspace to adhere to social distancing rules, we will consider:

    • Space planning to allow for increased personal space (with 2 metre distancing rules enforced)
    • Signage (behavioural and wayfinding)
    • Screens, partitions & dividers (non-permanent to create barriers around desks and areas)
    • Furniture & materials (to endure vigorous cleaning)
    • Meeting spaces
    • Landing zones for visitors
    • Flooring (easy to clean)
    • Re-build requirements (permanent partitions, wider corridors & doorways – our sister company Landmark Interiors Ltd can assist with any re-build requirements)
    • Storage (to ensure offices are kept as clear as possible)
    • Hygiene (for example hand sanitiser stations)

We will utilise all your existing furniture where we can and make recommendations for any new requirements you may have.

Our Process

Throughout the process, we work with you at every step of the way.  We are meticulous in our approach to project planning and want to ensure every customer is delighted with our customer service.
